Jordan farm fireplace: Pakistanis die as blaze sweeps via makeshift houses

13 Pakistani nationals, together with 8 youngsters and 4 ladies, have died in a hearth at a farm in Jordan, the civil defence division (CDD) has stated.

The hearth swept via corrugated iron sheds housing labourers on the farm in South Shouna, a rural house west of the capital Amman, early on Monday.

3 other folks had been injured.

The Petra information company cited the CDD as announcing it believed the hearth used to be led to by way of an electrical short-circuit.

Top Minister Omar al-Razzaz expressed his condolences to the folks and executive of Pakistan, and referred to as for an expedited investigation into the incident.
